Breast MRI Web Site

Web Site Background

This site is sponsored by the Magnetic Resonance Science Center (MRSC) at the University of California, San Francisco, and the United States Public Health Service's Office of Women's Health. It came about from the International Working Group for Breast MRI Meeting in March 1998 in Washington D.C., sponsored by the Office of Women's Health. At that meeting, Breast MRI researchers came together to share information with each other and with the public on the development of research plans leading to the optimization and clinical implementation of breast MRI. It was decided that a web site would be a good way to share current breast MRI information with breast cancer patients and their physicians.
