This is a partial list of breast cancer resources on the World
Wide Web. The content of these sites is not controlled or
endorsed in any way by UCSF or the Office of Women's Health. If

- American Cancer Society
(ACS) - General site with links to specific information on
breast cancer, including a page of other
web resources.
- Breast Cancer
Action's mission is to serve as a catalyst for prevention and
cure for breast cancer. This site includes exerpts from BCA's
newsletter, which includes discussions of current issues as well
as editorials by Executive Director Barbara Brenner.
- The Public Health Institute's Breast
Cancer Answers - Its mission is to improve access to and
awareness of breast cancer clinical trial information, support
patients receiving treatment, and improve the quality of life of
patients with breast cancer. This site is unique for the personal
stories and artwork in support of women receiving treatment for
breast cancer.
- BreastCancer.net -
Provides complete information on breast cancer, including current
news articles, indexed reference articles, support groups,
treatment options, and related websites.
- The
Breast Cancer Book Store, in association with Amazon.com and
The HealthBook Store, offers books at 20% to 40% below the cover
price. It is a comprehensive resource to books on breast
cancer.
- Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation - A private foundation dedicated to eradicating
breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research,
education, screening and treatment.
- The National Alliance of Breast
Cancer Organizations is a network of more than 370
organizations. The site provides current information on breast
cancer, updates on events and activities, and links to other sites
of related interest.
- National Breast Cancer
Coalition is a grassroots advocacy effort in the fight against
breast cancer. In 1991, the Coalition was formed with the mission
to eradicate breast cancer through action and advocacy.
- Y-Me National Breast Cancer
Organization - provides information and support to anyone who
has been touched by breast cancer. They have a great page of
links to other breast
cancer sites.
